A baby and two adults were injured on Tuesday after a semi truck took a sharp turn into a rest stop in Florida. 

 

The incident happened on April 26th in Gadsden county, Florida at around 6:15 p.m. 

According to WCTV News, the trucker was attempting to enter the I-10 west rest stop near Chattahoochee too fast and lost control of the rig, causing it to overturn. 

 

Five people, including the driver, were inside the cab of the truck at the time of the accident. The driver, one adult passenger, and a child sustained minor injuries in the crash. A seven-year-old boy sustained serious injuries in the wreck, and a five-month-old boy died of his injuries sustained in the incident. Florida Highway Patrol reports that the baby was not in his car seat at the time of the crash. 

All five people are from McAllen, Texas. No further information has been released.
