On Tuesday, Schneider announced that it has acquired a Wisconsin-based trucking company.

Schneider announced on June 7 that it has acquired deBoer Transportation, headquartered in Blenker, Wisconsin. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

As part of the acquisition, Schneider will assume ownership of deBoer’s approximately 160 tractors and 660 trailers.

The Blenker, Wisconsin, headquarters and a maintenance shop near Dallas, Texas, are not included in the sale.

“Consistent with Schneider’s strategy, the company is expected to be quickly integrated into Schneider’s existing businesses, with drivers and equipment being deployed to support growth opportunities in Dedicated and Power Only operations,” the company said in a brief news release detailing the acquisition.

deBoer got its start as a small cattle hauling operation in 1967 under the leadership of founder Ron DeBoer.
