POLICE: Seeking information on bright green semi that struck moped rider

Police are on the lookout for a bright green semi truck that was involved in a collision with a moped rider in North Carolina on Thursday morning. 

 

The accident happened on June 16th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of 27th Street and Patterson Avenue.

According to Fox 8 News, the semi truck and moped collided, critically injuring the rider, and the semi truck then fled the scene. No further information regarding the collision has been released. 

 

The moped rider was reportedly critically injured. Police are asking anyone with information on the bright green semi truck with a dark colored and yellow design to call the Winston-Salem police department at (336) 773-7700 or Crime Stoppers at (336) 727-2800.
