The Covington Police Department (CPD) has released a trucker’s dash cam video in hopes of locating a motorist responsible for causing a truck to overturn on Saturday.

The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on July 16 near the Brent Spence Bridge in Covington, Kentucky.

Police say that a motorist “collided with a semi-truck on I-75 southbound causing the truck to lose control and flip on its side blocking the interstate. The driver of the truck sustained injuries as a result of the collision and the interstate was completely closed for several hours.”

CPD is looking for tips from the public to help locate the driver of the car involved in the crash.

“The vehicle appears to be a 2011 or newer Dodge Charger, possibly dark blue, with dark tinted windows. The vehicle will have passenger-side damage and may also have front-end damage. Officers are seeking any information as to the whereabouts of the vehicle and driver. If you have any information that can assist with this investigation please contact Sgt. Rogers in the Traffic Unit at (859)292-2254,” CPD said in a news release.

You can view the dash cam video below.
