Georgia DPS shouts out CMV driver for saving motorist from ‘severe injuries or worse’

The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) shared dash cam video of a close call caused by a motorist’s erratic last-second turn maneuver.
In a June 30, 2023, social media post, Georgia DPS said, “We’re giving a shout-out to this professional CMV that was not driving distracted and potentially saved the driver of this passenger car severe injuries or worse. We ask all drivers to do their part to keep Georgia roadways safe.”
