Wheelchair panhandler fatally struck by cement truck beneath overpass in Boston on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on April 2nd under Interstate 93 in South Boston near the intersection of Frontage Road and Traveler Street at 10:11 a.m.
According to NBC Boston, the man in a wheelchair was asking people inside vehicles for spare change when he was hit by the cement truck.
The cement truck driver stayed at the scene after the incident. The deceased has not been identified. It is unclear if the truck driver will be charged for the incident.
The ramp to Albany Street was temporarily closed during the crash investigation.
