A truck driver’s coughing fit caused him to lose control and plow through multiple yards and into a business in Ohio on Monday night. The accident happened on April 1st in Urbana, Ohio just before 10 p.m.

According to the Urbana Daily Citizen, 33-year-old trucker Steven Mills was heading south in the 900 block of Main Street when he lost control of the truck. The semi truck then went off the west side of the road, traveled through the front yards of houses at 938, 936, and 930 N. Main Street, and then crossed Taft Avenue before plowing through Wooten’s lot. The truck then crashed through multiple U-haul vehicles and two other parked vehicles.

During the police investigation, Mills told officers that he had suffered a coughing fit, which caused him to become light headed and lose control of the truck. He was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution. No injuries have been reported.

Some of the incident was caught on surveillance video. Mills was charged with failure to maintain reasonable control of a motor vehicle.
