Tennessee Truck Driver Injured in Kentucky Semi-Truck Rollover Accident

Graves County, KY – A Tennessee truck driver sustained injuries Thursday night after his semi-truck overturned on KY-94 West in western Kentucky.
The accident occurred around 10:50 p.m. when Raymond Stacey, 44, of Greenfield, Tennessee, lost control of his semi while adjusting his seatbelt, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office. The truck veered off the roadway, crashing into a driveway, a mailbox, and a road sign before overturning down an embankment.
A passerby assisted Stacey in escaping the wreckage before emergency responders transported him to Mercy Health in Paducah with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities closed the highway for an extended period to recover the semi, which was carrying a load of grain, and to clear debris from the scene.
The incident is under investigation by Deputy Austin Caldwell, with assistance from Sergeant Garret Clark, KSP Trooper Matthew Flemming, the Cuba Fire Department, and Mayfield/Graves County EMS.
