California Highway Patrol Conducts Inspection on Tesla Semi at Grapevine Scale House
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) – Grapevine Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility recently had the opportunity to inspect a Tesla Semi, giving the public a closer look at the electric-powered truck.
On February 24, CHP shared images of the Tesla Semi as it passed through the scale house for inspection.
In a lighthearted post, CHP joked about the experience, saying, “Watt’s up everyone? We were amped to conduct this inspection. We were shocked with the technology. The inspector was energized and positive throughout the inspection. The details of the inspection have been ohm-itted because the truth hertz.”
While specific details of the inspection results were not disclosed, the Tesla Semi’s appearance at the enforcement facility highlights the growing presence of electric commercial vehicles on U.S. highways.
