Bystanders Pull Truck Driver from Rollover Crash on I-95 in Dedham

DEDHAM, Mass. — A tractor-trailer driver was rescued by a passerby after a rollover crash Monday morning near the Exit 29 off-ramp on Interstate 95.
The crash occurred around 10:00 a.m. during the morning commute. According to witnesses and images captured by a Boston 25 News photographer, a bystander climbed onto the overturned cab and opened the passenger door, helping the driver escape from the wreckage.
Emergency crews, including firefighters and Massachusetts State Police, quickly arrived on the scene. Fortunately, traffic on the off-ramp remained open and continued to move past the crash site with caution.
The extent of the driver’s injuries, if any, has not yet been confirmed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
