On Wednesday, TravelCenters of America Inc. announced the opening of a new franchised location between Kansas City and Wichita, Kansas.

The new 9000 square foot TA Express travel center is located off of I-35 at Exit 205 in Edgerton, Kansas.

Amenities at the store include 90 truck parking spaces, a Dunkin’ Express, an on-site deli, six diesel lanes, four showers, a drivers’ lounge, and laundry facilities.

“As we continue expanding our footprint across the country, we are strategically opening travel centers in locations where our services are needed by both professional drivers and motorists,” said Jon Pertchik, Chief Executive Officer of TravelCenters of America. “In partnership with our franchisee, we are proud to join the growing and vibrant Edgerton community and look forward serving both travelers and residents along the Interstate 35 corridor.”

TA says that the new Edgerton store brings the company’s nationwide network of travel centers to 275, including 42 franchises.

TA was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Westlake, Ohio.
