Tractor-trailer crashes into Queens subway station overpass in Woodside
QUEENS, New York — A tractor-trailer slammed into the elevated 61st Street–Woodside subway station early Thursday morning, damaging the trailer but causing no injuries, according to police.
The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. at 62nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue, where the truck struck the overpass structure of the elevated 7 line station. The impact mangled the trailer, though the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

According to 1010 WINS, service on both the 7 train and Long Island Rail Road continued to operate normally following the incident.
The subway station is already part of an ongoing MTA renovation project, with construction equipment and crews present in the area at the time of the crash. Officials are investigating the cause of the collision.
