DAPHNE, Ala. — A tractor-trailer hauling peanuts overturned Friday morning in Daphne, spilling its load and causing traffic delays near the intersection of Highway 181 and Interstate 10.
According to WKRG, Daphne Police said the crash happened when the truck rolled over onto its side, scattering peanuts across a grassy area off the roadway.
Traffic was reduced to one lane as crews worked to clean up the spilled cargo and upright the vehicle. No injuries were immediately reported.
