Motorist airlifted after rear-ending and pinned beneath flatbed semi-trailer in Clarksville
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — A driver was airlifted to a Nashville hospital early Tuesday after their vehicle rear-ended a flatbed semi-tractor trailer at a Clarksville intersection, becoming pinned beneath the truck.
The crash happened around 6:05 a.m. at Ft. Campbell Boulevard and Millswood Drive, where Clarksville Fire & Rescue units responded to reports of a vehicle trapped under the rear section of a flatbed trailer, according to Clarksville Fire & Rescue.

Crews arrived to find the vehicle lodged beneath the trailer near its rear tires with the driver still inside. Firefighters began extrication at 6:15 a.m. and freed the motorist by 6:28 a.m., turning the patient over to EMS for treatment. The driver was then flown by Air Evac to Nashville for further medical care.

No additional injuries were reported, and officials have not released the condition of the driver. The incident remains under investigation.
