Tractor-trailer driver dies after overturning in single-vehicle crash on I-95 in Greensville County
GREENSVILLE COUNTY, Va. — A tractor-trailer driver was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 2 p.m. on November 19 along I-95 South near the Route 301 exit at the 12-mile marker, according to WRIC. An initial investigation found that the tractor-trailer ran off the right side of the roadway, struck multiple trees, and overturned.

The driver was ejected from the cab and died at the scene. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
All southbound lanes of I-95 were shut down for several hours as crews responded and cleared the wreckage. VDOT reported that the highway fully reopened shortly after 5:30 p.m.
