A crash between a semi truck and a loaded bus left 16 dead and injured 22 more on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at the Arizona-Mexico border in Sonoyta, Mexico, just across the border from Arizona.
According to Albuquerque Journal, the crash occurred on Highway 2, which connects Sonoyta to the city of San Luis Rio Colorado.
Of the 22 injured survivors of the wreck, six are considered to be in critical condition.
The reason for the crash is still unclear, but pictures depict the cab of the semi truck buried within the front half of the passenger bus.
