A two truck driver was thrown off of a massive interchange while hooking up a  disabled car in Dallas on Monday night.

The accident happened on August 30th on the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway overpass to southbound Highway 75 at around 9:45 p.m.

According to The Dallas Morning News, the unnamed tow truck operator was hooking up a car when an oncoming Chevy Tahoe struck him, pushing him off of the five-level interchange and onto the ground below.

This interchange, known as the Dallas High Five Interchange, is as high as a 12-story building at its highest point, although the height at which the crash occurred is not yet known.

Police say that the motorist, 35-year-old Denise Chantel Alford, was intoxicated when she crashed into the tow truck driver and the car he was servicing, pushing him over the edge. Alford has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

As of Tuesday, Alford was being held in the Dallas County jail and her bail had not been set.
