Investigators believe the man had been lying on the ground in a low-lit area of the parking lot when the semi-truck—circling through the lot to exit onto 44th Street—drove over him.

The semi-truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Investigators reported no signs of impairment.

The victim has not yet been publicly identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
