SAFD said the tractor-trailer was hauling a load of bees when it overturned. The driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries as a precaution, officials said.
Hazardous materials crews responded to handle a small diesel fuel leak from the truck. Fire officials said there was no threat to the public, and the bees were secured following the crash.
The Finesilver Curve remained closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
