Watch: Wrong way driver rams CHP cruiser at toll plaza
A motorist captured bizarre video of a crash involving a California Highway Patrol (CHP) cruiser on Sunday afternoon.
The video was captured on the Bay Bridge connecting San Francisco and Oakland, California.
Troopers were initially called to the scene for reports of an uncooperative driver in a tow truck. The driver in the tow vehicle initially fled the tow plaza headed in the wrong direction back towards Oakland, but eventually turned around and rammed a CHP vehicle in the toll plaza.
The driver in the tow truck also struck two other vehicles, according to police.
One CHP trooper was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Local outlet KTVU reports that the suspect was arrested on multiple felony charges.
