Drove truck since 1995. In 2021 I developed congestive heart failure and ended up with a pacemaker/defibrillator installed. Pacemaker DOT said I could drive. But the defibrillator they said no.
Now I am currently an HOS Safety Manager at the company that I had planned on retiring from. Still working in the industry I love for the best employer ever.
I also do a couple of podcasts, preach about Free speech, decentralization, indie music, opensource software and Linux.

I may be a Safety guy now but I drove for 27 yrs before I got forced out of the truck cause of heart issues. So now I am happily helping my fellow drivers by teaching and advising them on elogs.
