Indiana firefighters are battling a massive blaze at a Walmart distribution center.

Approximately 200 firefighters have responded to a fire at a Walmart warehouse located at 9590 AllPoints Parkway in Plainfield, Indiana, near the Indianapolis International Airport.

The fire reportedly started around noon on Wednesday.

Around 1000 workers were inside the facility when the fire broke out, but no injuries have been reported.

According to the Brownsburg Fire Department, the blaze has been upgraded to a five-alarm fire.

Neighboring facilities are being evacuated, authorities say.

The U.S Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (AFT) is responding to the fire.

Walmart issued the following statement:

We’re thankful to local emergency crews for their quick response and for helping us account for the safety of our associates and those at the facility. We’ll continue working with police and fire personnel and are referring all questions to them.

Firefighters were training near the facility when the fire broke out and were able to respond in minutes.

Deputy Fire Chief Michael Pruitt took to Twitter to warn locals not to handle possibly toxic debris from the fire.
