Spilled nuggets force closure of PA highway

A semi truck spilled its load of chicken nuggets on Wednesday morning, forcing the closure of a Pennsylvania highway.
The accident happened on the morning of April 27th near West Rockhill Township.
According to UPI News, the trucker lost control of the rig around 6:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 309. The truck was hauling 40,000 pounds of chicken nuggets, which were spilled in the accident.
The driver was not hurt in the incident but the highway was closed for several hours on Wednesday morning while crews worked to clear the nuggets from the roadway.
“The cause of the incident is under investigation,” wrote the Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department.
