Kansas City police share video of the moment that a notorious bridge defeated a garbage truck

Police in Kansas City, Missouri, shared quick video of a Thursday bridge strike involving a garbage truck.
The incident occurred at the Independence Avenue Bridge on the afternoon of May 19.
The Kansas City Police Department said that a garbage truck from Lawrence, Kansas, was on the way to be serviced when it struck the truck-eating 12 foot bridge.
No injuries were reported.
The bridge is owned by the Kansas City Terminal Railway and was built more than 100 years ago. The company says that the bridge averages two strikes per month.
