A baby deer wreaked havoc in New Jersey on Tuesday morning by causing a chain reaction crash between two semi trucks and an SUV.

The accident happened on May 31st on Route 17 in Upper Saddle River at around 7:30 a.m.

According to Mahwah Ramsey Daily Voice, the young deer ran across Route 17 in front of Ramsey Alfa Romeo, causing one semi truck to jackknife, and an SUV and second semi truck to collide in a chain reaction incident.

Both truckers and the motorist declined medical attention at the scene. A small amount of fuel was spilled in the wreck, and Southbound Route 17 was closed in Upper Saddle River for nearly an hour. All three vehicles were towed from the scene.

No further information has been released.
