A man is dead after attempting to hit a moving semi truck with a chair in Kentucky on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred on June 5th at around 2:26 p.m. near Allensville, Kentucky in Todd County.

The Kentucky State Police report that a Peterbilt tractor trailer driven by Alexander Fritton was heading North on US Highway 79 when a pedestrian, Justin Lambert, entered the roadway on foot carrying a metal chair.

Fritton noticed Lambert in the road and was able to slow his rig to a near stop, and that’s when Lambert began striking the side of the semi truck with the metal chair. Lambert eventually got caught beneath the slow-rolling wheels of the rig and was pulled beneath the truck.

33-year-old Lambert was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner. The incident is still under investigation and no further information has been released.
