This week, a weigh station inspector in Georgia sniffed out something amiss with an overweight truck passing through the station.

According to a June 14 social media post from the Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS), the incident occurred on June 13 in east central Georgia.
From Georgia DPS:
Yesterday Senior Weight Inspector Barnes (Region E) was gathering vehicle information from an overweight CMV that had entered the weigh station when he smelled the odor of marijuana. Inspector Barns informed MCO2 Echols. MCO Echols then inspected the vehicle and discovered a green leafy substance and pills, which appeared to be Ecstasy. Excellent teamwork, Inspector Barnes and MCO Echols, for getting an unsafe driver off Georgia roadways.
