Bank robber flees scene in semi truck

Police are on the search for a bank robber that fled the scene of the crime in a semi truck on Tuesday afternoon. 

 

The incident happened on June 21st in Marion, Arkansas at the Regions Bank on Block Street. 

According to KY3 News, a man in a black hoodie, gray face mask, white gloves, and brown work boots walked up to the teller and demanded money. He left with a duffel bag filled with cash. Witnesses say that the man left the bank on foot, but surveillance video reveals he climbed into the cab of a blue tractor trailer on Manor Street as he was fleeing.

 

The truck left the area to the north on the East Interstate 55 Service Road. Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call police at 870-739-2101 or Crime Stoppers at 870-732-4444.
