A tractor trailer crash is being investigated as a DUI situation after the rig went crashing into the side of a house.

The accident happened on June 30th at around 5:30 p.m. in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

According to ABC 27 News, the truck was heading west on East Derry Road when it went off the road, drove through two yards, reentered the road, and nearly struck a car with four people inside. The truck then struck a parked pickup truck before driving into another front yard, hitting a stone wall, and then smashing into the side of a house at 1418 East Derry Road.

47-year-old driver Daniel Moore was able to exit the truck with some assistance from first responders. Moore was then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries, but is expected to be okay.

Police say they are investigating the incident as a possible DUI case. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Derry Township Police Department at 717-534-2202.
