An Interstate in Pennsylvania was shut down early Wednesday after a truck hauling Halloween candy caught fire.
The incident happened on July 20th at around 3:35 a.m. near Easton, Pennsylvania.
WFMZ News reports that the fire tore through the semi truck on Interstate 78 eastbound, forcing the closure of the roadway as the truck full of candy burned.
Officials closed I-78 and detoured traffic off the highway to Route 33 until 10 a.m. State police described the cleanup as ‘extensive.’
No one was hurt in the incident, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
