The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) says that officers are conducting inspections at a rest area as part of Brake Safety Week 2022.
Arizona DPS says that the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Task Force is conducting a two day inspection effort August 23 and 24 at the Munds Park Rest Area on I-17.
While the inspections are being held as part of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s Brake Safety Week campaign, the inspection effort also “serves to identify and remove commercial vehicles with critical inspection violations, encourage proactive vehicle maintenance, and highlight safety and education efforts by inspectors, drivers and motor carriers.”
Arizona DPS shared several photos from the August 23 inspections.
