California Highway Patrol to host Truck Driver Appreciation lunch at weigh station

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be hosting a free lunch for truck drivers as a show of appreciation during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW).
The event will be held on September 13 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (CDT) at the Gilroy Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility located at 12000 S Valley Freeway in San Martin, California.
The event, held in partnership with the California Trucking Association, will include a “free catered hot dog lunch.”
“We would like to show our appreciation for the good job you are doing moving America’s products!” CHP said.
This year’s NTDAW is September 11 — 17.
