Country singer does Jerry Reed right with his ‘Eastbound and Down’ cover

A popular country music singer released a cover of the classic trucking song “Eastbound and Down.”

This month, singer Jake Owen released his version of the Jerry Reed standard “Eastbound and Down,” along with a music video that would make “Smokey and the Bandit” star Burt Reynolds proud.
