On Wednesday, Memphis police shared dash cam video of a cargo theft in progress in hopes of identifying the suspects involved.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) says that the theft occurred at 7:30 a.m. on January 2 at 3292 Holmes Road in Memphis, Tennessee.

Through dash cam video obtained from a second nearby semi truck, MPD determined that a black Infiniti SUV backed up to a trailer.

“A Black male subject wearing an orange hoodie, tan jacket, and black pants entered the trailer and was seen passing boxes to another Black male wearing a black and white toboggan, maroon sweater, and black pants with gray pants underneath. The subjects left westbound Holmes Road from the location,” MPD said.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
