Both truck drivers involved in an altercation have been identified after one was killed in the recent Pennsylvania Love’s shooting.

The incident happened on Friday morning, March 22nd at about 2:45 a.m. at the Love’s Travel Stop off Interstate 78 in Upper Bern Township.

According to NJ News, truck driver James A. Hilton was helping another trucker maneuver into a parking spot when he got into an argument with a third truck driver, Travis J. Pugh. At some point during the argument, Pugh shot Hilton and fled the area in his semi truck.

Police were able to locate Pugh on the westbound exit 40 ramp along Interstate 78 about 45 minutes after the shooting. Pugh was taken into custody and charged with murder, aggravated assault, witness tampering, two counts of reckless endangerment, harassment and simple assault.

Hilton was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:12 a.m.

“He [Pugh] was here last night when I came in and now I found out they had a little ‘oops’ over here a little more than a fist fight,” said Bryan Smith, a truck driver from Dallas who was at the truck stop, to WFMZ.

Pugh is currently being held in the Berks County Jail. No other information about the Pennsylvania Love’s shooting has been released.
