Teens arrested for throwing rock, smashing CMV windshield

Canadian police recently arrested and charged two teens for throwing a rock at a passing truck.
At 9 p.m. on March 30, police responded to a call about rocks being thrown at vehicles near Mattagami River Bridge in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario.
OPP North East Region reports that a thrown rock shattered the window of a CMV traveling on Highway 11.
Police were able to identify two fourteen year olds as the rock-throwing suspects.
The teens were arrested and charged with mischief.
“What may seem like a harmless prank can quickly escalate into a life-threatening situation, not just for the drivers and passengers but also for the perpetrators themselves,” OPP warned.
