21-year-old steals rims off of more than 30 semi trucks worth neatly $5,000 from a business in Wisconsin.

The theft occurred on the early morning of March 28th in the 1800 block of 118th Street near Lake Hallie, Wisconsin.

According to the Leader Telegram, the owner of the business contacted police after the rims were stolen and provided them with a photo of the suspects car. Police then contacted scrap yards in the area and notified them of the stolen items and a description of the vehicle caught on video. On April 2nd, detectives were contacted by one of the scrapyards and told that all of the stolen rims had been sold to them.

Police soon determined the suspect to be 21-year-old Andrew Charlesworth-White, and were able to recover most of the stolen rims from the scrapyard.

After interrogating Charlesworth-White, he was taken into custody at the Chippewa County Jail where he is being held on felony theft charges. Charlesworth-White has no prior criminal record. No further information has been released.
