Video shows big rig slamming into concrete barrier at highway speeds
Dash cam video captured the moment that a semi truck collided — hard — with a concrete barrier on a South Carolina roadway.
The dash cam clip was captured on February 16, 2024, in Gaffney, South Carolina.
In the video, you can see a truck traveling in front of the dash cammer through a construction zone. As the far left lane ends, the truck moves into the right lane and soon after strikes a concrete barrier on the right side of the road. The out of control truck then veers towards the dash cammer, but the drivers are able to avoid striking one another. The truck veers right again and appears to strike the barrier again, sending up a shower of sparks.
