This video gives you a closer look at a totally unique monster truck known as “Big Pete.”

According to the builder’s website, Big Pete was constructed using a Peterbilt 359 with a big-block Chevrolet V8 engine. It’s 16 feet tall and 12 feet wide, weighing 7.5 tons, with the ability to “jump” 15 feet in the air.

The “Ridiculous Rides” video below features Big Pete driven by Mike Murty in the UK Monster Truck Nationals.

Murty told Barcroft Cars that this is “the world’s first monster truck and trailer, which we designed to be able to crush the cars.”
