A man wanted for two shooting incidents involving semi trucks in Arkansas has been taken into police custody.

On July 21, David Allen Jackson, 29, was arrested without incident as part of a joint effort between the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department and the West Memphis Police Department. The arrest came shortly after police issued a call for public assistance in locating Jackson.

Jackson has been charged with terroristic threat/shooting that causes physical injury, unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, and firearms possession.

Jackson was wanted in connection with two shootings that happened earlier this year. The first occurred on May 19 on I-55 in Crittenden County, Arkansas. Police received a report that a semi truck had been shot, with the driver having been struck multiple times. The driver said that the shooter was in a dark blue Chevrolet Malibu.

The second shooting occurred on July 2 in the same location as the first shooting. The truck driver wasn’t injured, but the vehicle was hit by multiple rounds.
