Police in Glendale, Arizona, say that a Wednesday morning crash involving a tanker truck was deliberately caused by an SUV driver.

The incident took place at 8:30 a.m. on February 12 at the intersection of 57th Avenue and Camelback Road.

According to Glendale PD Public Information Officer Moroni Mendez, the SUV driver intentionally collided with a tanker truck carrying oxygen, then attempted to set the SUV on fire.

Following the crash, the tanker truck caught fire.

When police arrived, the SUV driver resisted arrest, leading to an altercation with officers before he was finally taken into custody.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported.

This is a developing story, and further details are expected as the investigation continues.
