A tractor-trailer crash on I-90 eastbound at exit 25A in Rotterdam, New York, caused significant traffic disruptions on Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 12:09 PM when the tractor-trailer struck a crash cushion at the split between I-90 and the exit ramp. The impact lifted the truck, causing it to hit a railroad overpass.

The commercial vehicle was carrying metal pipes, which became dislodged during the crash, further complicating cleanup efforts.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Due to the crash, I-90 eastbound was temporarily closed between exits 25 and 25A. All lanes were reopened by 8:15 PM after several hours of cleanup and investigation.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
