Two Hospitalized After Pickup and Tractor-Trailer Crash in Lancaster County

Two people were injured Friday morning following a collision between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer in Drumore Township, Lancaster County, according to the Quarryville Fire Company.
The crash occurred around 10:25 a.m. at the intersection of Friendly Drive and Lancaster Pike. Emergency crews arriving on scene found the pickup truck slammed into a pole after being struck by the tractor-trailer.
Both injured individuals were transported to the hospital. The severity of their injuries has not been released.
Photos from the scene show heavy damage to the pickup truck, which was pinned against the pole. A small spill was also reported and quickly cleaned up.
Fire police directed traffic around the crash site while crews worked to clear the wreckage. The Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating the incident.
