Man Killed After SUV Slams Into Back of Semi on M-53

                    WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A fatal crash shut down M-53 in northern Macomb County on Monday morning after a white Chevrolet SUV collided with the rear of a semi-truck.
According to FOX 2, a 49-year-old man from Bruce Township was pronounced dead at the scene. Aerial footage showed the SUV lodged into the back of the trailer at the crash site near 32 Mile in Washington Township.
The semi-truck driver was not injured.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
