Truck Crashes Into Church Building in Southern Indiana

A tractor-trailer crashed into a church building in southern Indiana on Tuesday, causing major structural damage.
The crash took place on July 15 along U.S. 150 near the Washington/Harrison County line. According to the Indiana State Police – Sellersburg, the unloaded semi-truck veered off the road and slammed into the Faith Victory Center Church.
Photos from the scene show the truck lodged into the church's main structure, with extensive damage to the building. Fortunately, no one was inside at the time of the crash, and the truck driver escaped without injuries.
While the exact cause of the incident is still under investigation, troopers noted that weather conditions may have played a role, as it was possibly raining when the crash occurred.
According to Indiana State Police – Sellersburg, updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
