Video shows how society collapses without truckers
“Our society would collapse without truck drivers, so why don’t we treat them better?” asks this video from ATTN.
In just over 90 seconds, this video hits a number of trucker pain points right on the head — the dangers of the job, the time spent away from family, the pressure to be on time, and the stagnating wages. While the video may not have gotten it totally right as far as driver wages go, for the most part, it does a good job of explaining why trucking is a tough job to the average American who doesn’t spend much time thinking about the men and women who haul the goods that they need to survive.
The video has already been viewed nearly 10 million times and has prompted some important discussion about respecting truck drivers.
