Maryland Truck Driver Seriously Injured in Osage County Crash

A 30-year-old man from Thurmont, Maryland, was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon in a tractor-trailer crash in Osage County, Missouri. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash occurred when a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia traveling southbound on Highway 133, north of Petes Drive, veered off the right side of the road, struck a utility pole, and overturned.

Emergency responders from MSHP and the Osage County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The driver was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities advised motorists to avoid the area during the cleanup and investigation.
