Semi Carrying Chicken Catches Fire on I-90 in Avon, Shutting Down Lanes
                    AVON, Ohio — A tractor-trailer hauling chicken caught fire Monday morning on Interstate 90 West, forcing lane closures and causing heavy traffic delays, according to Avon police.
The incident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. near Nagle Road, when officers responded to reports of a semi-truck on fire. Police said two of the three westbound lanes were closed while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
By 8 a.m., the fire was reported to be out, but cleanup and lane restrictions continued. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
According to FOX 8 Cleveland, traffic along I-90 West was backed up for several miles as crews cleared the scene. The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
