Train Crashes Into Stuck 18-Wheeler Carrying Cars in Schertz, Texas
SCHERTZ, Texas — A freight train crashed into an 18-wheeler loaded with cars on Sunday morning after the truck became stuck on the railroad tracks in Schertz, sending debris flying but miraculously causing no injuries, according to the Schertz Police Department.

The crash occurred around 10:12 a.m. on November 2 when the car hauler stopped on the tracks and was struck moments later by an oncoming train. Video captured by a witness shows the truck driver jumping out of the cab seconds before the collision as the train’s horn blared repeatedly.
Upon impact, the train T-boned the trailer, scattering car parts and debris across the area. Police confirmed that the train did not derail, and no injuries were reported. According to 6ABC, the intersection remained closed for several hours while crews cleared the wreckage.

Authorities said the crash is under investigation.
This marks the second train-vs-truck collision in Schertz within a week, following an October 28 incident when an Amtrak train struck a semi hauling rocks.
