Train collides with tractor-trailer in Botetourt County, no injuries reported

EAGLE ROCK, Va. — A train collided with a tractor-trailer that was stopped across the tracks Thursday morning in Botetourt County, officials said.
According to WSET, the crash happened around 11:02 a.m. in the 15000 block of Narrow Passage Road in Eagle Rock. Fire and EMS crews arrived to find the train had struck the trailer, but no one was injured.

Emergency crews worked with railroad officials through the afternoon to clear the scene. Authorities asked the public to avoid Narrow Passage Road near James Street until cleanup was complete.
Officials said there was no immediate danger to nearby residents.
